NMSU: Piñon Hall

The recently completed Piñon Hall at the main NMSU campus includes 136 freshman housing units which house 249 beds.  Studio D teamed with Gould Evans Architects and performed the role of project architect and construction administrator.  In addition to the dormitory rooms, this facility creates individual gathering spaces for students as well as large courtyards for interaction with the rest of the student body. A number of study halls were provided to give students private study areas in the dormitory atmosphere.
